I support children, teenagers, and adults living with anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and mind–body illnesses, offering a compassionate and supportive space where they feel truly heard.
Together, we gently explore both emotional and physical experiences, creating space for the mind and body to soften, feel safer, and gradually return to a sense of balance and ease.
I am post graduate trained in Sensorimotor Art Therapy, Play therapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy), and IFS (Internal Family Systems Therapy). Furthermore, I am currently completing certification in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy, a powerful modality for healing emotional and physical trauma. As a bilingual clinician, I also provide therapy in French.
Throughout my life, I have been deeply interested in well-being and healing, alongside a passion for the dramatic arts. I earned my first honors degree in dramatic arts, that included drama therapy, but challenging life experiences, particularly helping a loved one through serious mental health and emotional difficulties, further fueled my interest in healing modalities. With now more than twenty years of clinical social work and psychotherapy experience across a
diverse range of clients, I work with individuals, children, adolescents and families experiencing trauma, anxiety, divorce, grief, mood disorders, and the multifaceted challenges that arise across the human lifespan.
Practicing within a strengths-based, anti-oppressive culturally informed framework, I draw from a broad repertoire of evidence-based modalities to tailor services to each client’s distinct needs. I am recognized for cultivating a therapeutic environment that is safe, inclusive, emotionally attuned, and that honors the complexity of every individual’s lived experience.

Hello, I’m Irene, a therapist, somatic practitioner, and lifelong seeker of the small sacred moments that remind us who we really are. My work rests at the intersection of science and spirit—where trauma-informed practice meets intuitive knowing, breath meets emotion, and the body becomes a trusted guide again.
My approach is gentle, grounded, and deeply relational. I hold space for people to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with their inner world in ways that feel safe, authentic, and empowering. Whether we’re exploring old narratives, working through trauma, or softening long-held patterns, my intention is always the same: to help you come home to yourself.
I draw from somatic work, Internal Family Systems, breathwork, mindfulness, EMDR, hypnotherapy and trauma-informed CBT. I believe healing isn’t linear—it’s a spiraling path of remembering, releasing, and opening.
When I’m not in session, you’ll find me doing the things that nourish my spirit—crocheting, weaving, crafting, making things with my hands,or sitting quietly with a good book and a cup of something warm. Creativity has always been my medicine, and I bring that same spirit of curiosity and presence into the therapy room.
If you’re feeling called to reconnect with yourself, ease old wounds, or simply breathe a little deeper, I’d be honoured to walk beside you. Healing begins with a single brave moment. You’ve already taken it.
I have downloaded Google Chat and set up my email.
Looking forward to chatting about next steps.

I aim to create a space that feels safe, supportive, and respectful, where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you. My work is rooted in trust, compassion, and meaningful therapeutic connection, with a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care and the mind-body connection, including how stress and emotional experiences can show up as physical symptoms in the body.
I hold a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I support adults and teenagers who are navigating emotional distress, trauma, substance use concerns, and periods of personal growth. My approach draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including EMDR, parts work, somatic practices, Polyvagal Theory, CBT, and DBT, and is always tailored to your unique needs and goals.
No matter where you are coming from, whether you are involved in the criminal justice system, working on the front lines as a first responder, navigating substance use, or part of a marginalized or underserved community, I aim to offer support that feels respectful, affirming, and safe. My goal is to offer a steady, compassionate presence where you can feel understood and supported both emotionally and physically as you move toward greater regulation, resilience, and healing.
Above all, I believe therapy works best when you feel truly seen, heard, and respected.
